Zar Star Cards
They consist of the mother and son team of Cassandra and Nazari (aka Zar Star). They started their home made card making as a way to incorporate both their love of crafting and to teach Nazari marketing and sales skills while also helping him get out of his shell. Cassandra will also be assisting in the organized crafting at our craft station from 12-2, where we will be making God’s Eyes, tissue paper flowers, painting wood rounds, and more!

Jenelle is passionate about creating earrings for all to wear using the beauty and healing nature of crystals; each pair is designed and handmade by Jenelle. “My crocheted items are ‘Lovingly Handmade’. My love of crafting began back in the 70s, (yes I am that old!) crochet, then macrame and onto counted threadwork and reproduction samplers which I sold at many local craft shows. Then a 20 year break to work full time and I had little time to do any crafting. I retired in 2010, my eyes couldn’t handle the fine thread work but I picked up my crochet hooks and haven’t stopped since. It is truly my happy place and I take my crochet bag with me everywhere.
I try to use as many natural fibers as I can, wool, cotton, alpaca, etc but some acrylics I order from Denmark are exceptional in quality. I love to crochet wearables, many with a ‘Outlander’ inspiration. Depending on the season, I crochet shawls, fingerless mittens, wrist warmers and neck warmers, ponchos, scarves and hats, vests, sweaters, some baby items and special order gifts.”

Mike’s Pond
Mike’s Pond is a beautiful place of peace and healing just outside of Cazenovia, created in memory of Michael Hackney. The expansive pond, serene trails, and gardens are the setting for the Nelson Psychic & Wellness Fair. Join us for a family-friendly day including psychic and intuitive readers, energy healers, crystals, outdoor yoga, reiki, Indian head massage, classes, door prizes, food and beverage vendors and more!
Proceeds from this event are a donation to the Mike Hackney Memorial Fund for Mike’s Pond – a place for others to remember, and to connect with nature. Mike’s Pond is often open to the community. Donations help towards the costs of maintaining the trails, stocking the pond, improving accessibility for visitors, and supporting the free annual Learn to Fish event.
A limited number of tickets will be available at the door for $12.
